Report from the walls of Evin prison                    

Norooz: the families of political prisoners sat in fasting with their loved ones, on the other side of Evine prison's walls on the first day of Ramadan.

Norooz reported nearly 150 families of political prisoners attended the evening iftar ceremony in remembrance of their loved ones held at Evin prison .

With the presence of small number of security forces toward the end of the ceremony, the families of detainees shouted “Allahu Akbar” in protest of oppression and misery forced on so many of their loved ones.
